After 5 years from Lasertag's official separation, their EP "08", distributed back in the days only on USB pen after the concerts, has been mixed by Manolo Vasquez and comes now out on vinyl on Yoccu recordings. Six tracks and two unreleased songs, recorded between 2007 and 2008 in a studio located in via Capodafrica, district Celio, mix all together new and minimal wave, punk, kraut and funkpop. Lasertag's destabilizing livesets are still remembered in the roman underground: unique events, very often enriched with dresscodes and unusual scenarios, where electronic, funky pop and free arrangements brought to the audience a sound in between Talking Head's "Stop Making Sense" and Pop Group's "Thief of Fire". Lasertag was for each member a fertile experimental laboratory. They all continued doing music in other local formations: Antonio Giannantonio in Real Miracolo, Manuel Cascone and Pierluca Zanda in Nastro, and Andrea Noce in le Rose. But 2008 was in Rome the year of Lasertag and "08" is their inspired story of that great time spent together.
